Re: Portmod - Mod Manager
I tried to make my own repo to install mods that are not under portmod already, or that are broken. And fail to understand what I am supposed to do. Here is the links to the guide I am trying to decypher. pybuild-guild Repos.cfg pybuild-guide According to Repos.cfg I need to prepare a directory with...

Re: Portmod - Mod Manager
I am probably missing something obvious... I reset my installation deleting both the directories under .config and .local I select the profile "[4] default/openmw/1.0/morrowind-tb-bm (stable) *", set up the Morrowind directory in the configuration file, executed "omwmerge -uDN @world&...

Re: Microsoft buys Bethesda... What does it mean for OpenMW?
The worst case scenario is that OpenMW must go undercover until the Example Suite is a minimal game. Then there won't be any doubt whatsoever thath OpenMW is an engine that can, among other things, play a game similar to Morrowind using those assets. Frankly, I really think Microsoft won't give a da...

Re: [OpenMW-CS] One-shot record filter with binary expressions?
I just tried:
and it works as expected, I see the ids with ayse and tree. What are you trying exactly?
Code: Select all
!and(string("id", ".*ayse.*"), string("id", ".*tree.*"))

Re: Microsoft buys Bethesda... What does it mean for OpenMW?
Bethesda already tried to shut down the project with baseless claims. I was around when it happened, it was quite a drama: a developer deleted all his messages on the board and told us that he had to use anxiolytics for a while. I remember myself copying all the data about the project I could (sourc...

Re: Elder-scrolls IV Oblivion
Maybe he started working for a game company and this project was seen as "working for the competition"?

Re: Microsoft buys Bethesda... What does it mean for OpenMW?
Basically lysol said it all, we are using Microsoft assets now. But that's about it, we are not using their services or software.
It is unfortunate that the original engine and the various hacks on it are still so popular, but there is nothing we can really do.

Re: OpenMW-cs does not save deleted subrecords?
I attached to this message a tiny example, maybe it will help you to understand what it needs to be done. The forum does not accept .esp files, but the archive contains: no_ghostgate_tree_btes.esp no_ghostgate_tree_openmwcs.esp I just created the first file (no_ghostgate_tree_btes.esp) with the beth...
