Re: English news poll
He's not quitting, he just won't do the translations to English anymore. All this commotion really isn't needed, SH's posts are read and liked by a lot of people (probably more than we would estimate). It's good that we have a conversation about it, and I agree to the fact that we need more proofrea...

Re: SCaLE 12x call for papers
Here we are on the schedule: http://www.socallinuxexpo.org/scale12x/schedule/friday :) Still in process of getting my notes together. Looking forward to it! Nice, there is almost nothing else on the hour you go up. I expect large quantities of Qt devs once this is over Raevol :). And I may have tol...

Re: News has many many many typos
I'm on the same foot as Raevol, I'd do the weekly updates, but someone teach me where to get that information. There is also the opportunity to rework them. I'm thinking of putting in something more for the community about OpenMW/Morrowind/Open-Source engines. I'm not completely worked out on the id...

Re: English news poll
If there is nobody available for the proofreading, I'll do it.
I'm not native English, but I'm sure I'll be able to catch 'em all!

Re: News has many many many typos
I'd do it, but although I frequent the forums a lot, you seem to know a lot more about what's going on compared to what I know. I guess that's because you reside more on the IRC channel, or am i wrong?

Re: News has many many many typos
Hey, thanks for the feedback. I am very neutral about memes (I think that is because i don't understand most of them) but I've always liked sir_herrbatka's 'not so serious but informative' news updates. I agree that proofreading the news before putting it online would be best for the typos. @herrbat...

Re: Mod packaging and repositories
TBH, I think there should be a license section in each esx file, like there is for author and description now, and it should be autofilled with some creative commons license, so people have to "opt out" of free sharing. EDIT: Maybe even gpl, so people are virally forced to use gpl because...

Re: Modding: Character Creation
Sesom is already looking into that, you could try to contact him to see if you can help each-other out. It seems to me that you two would make a perfect team according to what you specialize in.
