I don't have a steady income, so I wouldn't be able to contribute anyway. But in general I don't speculate in proprietary games which are generally funded by license fees... as opposed to free games, which are not sold per-license and therefore have an actual need for my money. GPL cares about source code, not about binary distribution, right? Hmm... I'm actually not sure how that works out here. I don't necessarily have a full understanding of how the DRM affects the executable file, and my legal understanding is limited to my own reading of the GPL and what others have ...

Also, the GNU GPL is almost certainly incompatible with Steam's DRM. They would have to do a policy change to allow distribution of GPL software. For example, Desura distributes a lot of GPL games, because there is no DRM that is enforced by the client. Valve doesn't really have a strong motivation ...

Perhaps this deviates too much from normal Morrowind behavior, but I don't even see why torso matters
