Re: OpenMW 0.42.0

Delaying a release for a pointless video is nonsense, do people actually watch them? I never have, I read the changelog then I know all I need to. Instead of being an ass, you could have spent two minutes going to youtube to see the amount of views and comments and what the comments actually say be...

Re: OpenMW 0.42.0

From what I can tell we have an outstanding issue with the Windows RC file paths on the wizard? https://forum.openmw.org/viewtopic.php?p=46840#p46840 (Or was this a user issue? No offense, I just did not follow the thread well...) User issue. Source: That fixed it. That was one of the first things ...

You assume correctly.

Re: Older bump mapped mods (and how to make them work in Ope

What the rationale for removing these additional rows? I need to work out what I need to remove for other files too. 5 is probably an ambient occlusion map (I guess because of the _ao suffix), which is not supported in OpenMW. Therefore this link is unnecessary. 6 is probably the normal map. OpenMW...

This.

Could you upload the texture here?

By the way, in the picture you uploaded here, I'd remove rows 5, 6, 9 and 10.

Re: Older bump mapped mods (and how to make them work in Ope

OK, I've got rid of the NiTextureEffect blocks, as per the tutorial. No effect. I change the name of tad_rock_refl3.dds to tad_rock_spec.dds, and the rocks turn translucent purple. What on earth...? I also notice that the reference image for which blocks to remove (http://imgur.com/VmQC0WG) has the...

If you want to play Morrowind with OpenMW, then do it. As it is right now, it is better than Vanilla Morrowind out of the box. 1.0 is just a number, if I had to wait until all the software I use becomes "1.0" then I wouldn't even bother having a computer.
This.

Re: 1.0 Release

Check the roadmap in the bugtracker. The features left to do until 1.0 is officially ready for release are: Version 0.43: Feature #824: Fading for doors and teleport commands Feature #1161: Autodetect encoding of Morrowind installation files Feature #2509: Editor: highlighting occurrences of a word ...

Re: Older bump mapped mods (and how to make them work in Ope

Hi, I've tried going through the steps in the tutorial to fix the On the Rocks! textures, and the source texture isn't a _nm.dds file, it's _refl3.dds. Should the blocks still be removed? I've fixed some of the OTR!-textures before, and I thought I recalled that the files were _nm.dds. If there's l...
