Re: Moons - replicate Morrowind or lore friendly?
The interesting question is what they actually do. I mean, if moons don't appear on the horizon in game, is that a developer short cut or do the Moons in-world just appear in the sky from nowhere and later disappear. I could imagine that happening in Tamriel - the Necromancer's Moon for instance is ...

Re: Moons - replicate Morrowind or lore friendly?
My suggestion would be to make their behaviour, in order of preference Morrowind Identical Lore Conforming Astronomically viable Whatever is left that's is easy to do. Which is to say the best thing is always to follow Morrowind. Especially so when it may not be clear what is Lore, what is a bug and...

Re: Windows 10, MUST READ!
Of course it's a product. If nothing else it's a product of the hard work of the development team.
It's not a commercial product, of course, and long may it remain so. It's still a product though

It reads better than what I wrote.
One thing I was goign to ask - don't those ">=" sigils need quoting? If I try and do that on a bash command line here I end up redirecting standard output. I appreciate I'm probably showing my age by asking that...

Re: Face Texture Glitch on Git Build under Gentoo
Sounds like a mipmapping issue. You're probably right. It doesn't happen in the mages guild so it's not a general problem. I didn't even notice it with Estralin so it's not a female altmer thing. Got to be something specific to Nalcarya I am using Better Heads. It didn't give me any problems under ...

Face Texture Glitch on Git Build under Gentoo
Well, the good news is that my newly compiled OSG build works. The bad news is that I'm getting a weird face texture glitch on Nalcarya in Balmora. From a moderate distance, her face is black. As you get closer, individual tris start to be textured until at close range she looks more or less normal....

Someone might want to review the addition in case I've committed some stylistic faux pas.

Re: Compiling on Gentoo: +osg?
Just what I was about to post.
There''s probably not a lot to add to what's on there already, but I can add the use flags to the section.

Done that. Someone might want to review the addition in case I've committed some stylistic faux pas.

Re: Compiling on Gentoo: +osg?
Asmo, thanks for that. I'm not sure what I was missing, but using your use flags seems to have sorted it out. Or at least the latest version from git seems to be building nicely anyway.
