a while ago the problem was we ran out of tester to test stuff so we could figure out how certain things REALLY work so that they could properly be implemented in to OMW. is the testing/tester side of things done?

I just tested the latest release and found some issues: while loading new cell, the game jumps to the next to last frame, then to the last frame and then over and over, until it's fully loaded - it's quite unpleasant. When you swing your weapon and go to the new cell at the same time, the animation...

We decide that on a case-by-case basis. But in general I am more in favour to replicate MW as exactly as possible and then add alternatives for weird behaviour later. i agree because some of those bugs may not be possible with OMW and if they were... well they are probably why vanilla MW is so slow.

OMW needs all the spot light it can get. OMW is the ONLY gpl game/engine/project to ever actually make any progress and be sucesfull (this meaning may vary), form what i can tell it's because Zini is the main programmer and is very diligent. i've never seen a gpl project work so well before.
