Re: Using version numbers on the bugtracker

As a non-developer, I have read the previous posts (some links below) and scrawl has made his case quite clear a lot of times and Zinni backed this back in 2014 by supporting not changing a system that is working. For less clutter and for the sake of scrawl, read his previous posts. A target version...

Re: Elder-scrolls IV Oblivion

MWScript seems to simply execute the opcodes generated by the compiler, this part cannot be generated by Bison... Thank you very much for that detailed explanation. Message to the rest who are not Zini or Scrawl: Please stop telling people what they can't or should be doing. You're not helping. If ...

Re: Elder-scrolls IV Oblivion

As psi29a stated, the work would be building a foundation for later. For changes to the master now, improvements to OpenMW-CS would be the way to go. I don't know if it is possible but improvements to MWScript that don't break the 1.0 plan? See the thread, Delay 1.0 untill all of MWSE is implemented .

Re: Elder-scrolls IV Oblivion

I am not sure which one is better from a architectural perspective, I prefer the first one but the latter option is likely easier to manage. Edit: It is a bit worrying that https://github.com/ponyrider0/openmw , c99cii , me (and who knows who else) are all working on different parts of TES4 without...

Re: Elder-scrolls IV Oblivion

I have seen your beautiful work. All the work have you have done does lay a foundation, any push to OSG/master, should leverage as much as we can to minimise workload.

Re: Elder-scrolls IV Oblivion

A quick Google leads to https://tesrenewal.com/comment/85791#comment-85791 Yes, I should of probably linked there as well. The project goals are a legal issue. Further down the track, the CS may need to have warning in place covering the issue of converting potential Bethesda licensed material. Cop...

Re: Where are Save Files Located?

You need to run openmw-essimporter from command prompt. First you open command prompt then you go to the directory containing openmw-essimporter.exe. A quick search I found the below. Also, the importer is not complete. Have a look at the latest page below detailing the current issues. Save importer...

Re: Elder-scrolls IV Oblivion

The below fork is interesting. An attempt at incorporating TES4 compatibility for the CS.

Re: Elder-scrolls IV Oblivion

Great to hear it wasn't anything major. Though, losing a setup can quite annoying. Thanks for the update! A fresh set of eyes usually puts stuff in perspective.
