Re: My thoughts so far...

Totally agree with everything you said Okulo, especially your second point. For me, Open MW is one of the most transparent and open projects I have ever been involved with. The regular, clear and honest updates are brilliant. The bug tracker is excellent and allows you to easily see exactly what is ...

Re: Project Tamriel

This is great news. Providing a monthly update on the state of both projects (as OpenMW does) is an excellent idea as it allows people to easily know the achievements of the past month and the progress towards the next release. I look forward to the next releases from both projects and also OpenMW 1...

Re: Feature Cleanup and Beta

I agree, I think that a Year in Review post would be a brilliant idea. I also concur with Open MW's advances in its playability. I have been watching this project for a long time and downloaded it once when it was on a .2x release and it wasn't comparable to Morrowind. But playing from .33 onwards, ...

Re: Wiki page for Mods

I started testing by just trying to launch OpenMW with all my mods loaded and working out what failed. This has uncovered a few bugs which I raised with the bug tracker. I am now looking at mods that are easy to validate (they either work or don't and it is obvious). If I manage to get through all s...

Re: Development update 1

Thanks for the update Scrawl, much appreciated. I am so happy that we are nearing 1.0, it will be brilliant to have it feature complete. I have been helping out with Tinkers mod testing wiki page, I wish I could code and assist directly to OpenMW's progress but this way I can help in some small way ...

Re: Wiki page for Mods

I have added a couple of mods (that sadly don't work) to the Wiki. I raised 3 bug reports based on my experiences thus far. My vanilla install runs with a pretty much maxed out mod list and I am keen to test as many of these as I can. I can't code so am very happy that I have found some meaningful w...
