New Font Implementation
Morrowind uses bitmap font, and OpenMW engine has replicated that, but I would like to see OpenMW to have Morrowind font compatible with standard font formats. I really don't like vanilla font, and all the other bitmap font replacers that I found.

Re: Free Software vs Open Source
Where do you stand, Free Software or Open Source? Neither, because it is a false dichotomy, nay, it is a meaningless question. Terms like "user's freedom" and "user's rights" are being bandied about, with absolutely no inkling of what their meaning is, any conceptual grounding o...

Bouth terms talk about essentially the same software because all Free Software is Open Source, but some small portion of Open Source software isn't Free Software, but they have two very different approach to it. Open Source suggest that it is a good ...

Re: Free-licensed game in OpenMW engine?
I don't think that licencing the content of a game based on OpenMW engine is necessarily bad. But the current copyright laws in every country are really bad. Yeah, the state of copyright legislation is basically what I creates all these issues and worries of "IP stealing" because copyrigh...

Re: Intel HD Graphics 2000 OpenMW performance on GNU/Linux
Better than what I get with a 1050Ti using the Nouveau drivers (because this machine is about as stable as a house of cards otherwise - sheesh, can my next PC actually be more stable?), where I'm lucky to get 10fps outside. That is Nvidia's fault. They are the ones to keep a secret ther harvare spe...

Hope this can be of use to some of you....

Re: Microsoft Buys Github for $7.5 Billion
My brother, who uses Linux exclusively on his own computer, once told me this; "Most people don't give a crap about Open Source" Within the confines of an open source community, it seems crazy. But, when you leave those confines, you slowly begin to realize that statement is indeed the ca...
