[Solved] Bug with %PCRank?

Before I open an issue in the bug tracker, just putting it out here because I may be misinterpreting things: I am having this error with a dialogue entry added by the LGNPC Vivec FQ mod. The dialog topic is with Tiram Gadar, the dunmer aide to Trebonius that is *not* a member of the Mages Guild, or ...

Re: Fixes for Uvirith's Legacy

Yes, it's weird, but they both extended the same spot for different things and different reasons, so unless someone wants to move one of them (the House of Mannequins would probably be the easier of the two), we're kinda stuck with it. Is this something doable in current openmw-cs? When it regards ...

Re: Issue with blessings from shrines. Possible mod issue?

Incidentally, this is why the Atronach sign is probably the most powerful birthsign: spell absorption is not only one the best defenses, it means infinite free magicka recharges. Join the temple and get a few ranks to get the price of the blesses to 0. Every tomb has a shrine, so you see where this ...

Re: Weird openmw-cs problem

Ok, I just tested this. Loaded the cleaned esp attached above, opened into the TES-CS and went into the magical effects tab. Could not find how to revert edited records, so I just made changes to the fire damage effect (which I *think* are functionally equivalent to reverting), saved, inserted this ...

Re: Weird openmw-cs problem

It's not something supernatural. ESM reader/writer doesn't work well with plugins that lack cell lighting subrecords (i.e. cleaned plugins), in resaved plugins the subrecords are resaved anyway but with zero values (black colors). That makes sense, thanks for the info. Grabbed the original, un-clea...

Weird openmw-cs problem

I want to edit the Better_Sounds.esp plugin -- attached below as compressed zip -- for compatibility reasons. Specifically, I wanted to revert the 2 edits to magical effects, and while I am there fix the 3 errors spotted by the verifier. Here is the problem: as soon as I do these changes, and then l...

Openmw and openmw-cs problem

I have a mod on nexus "Faction Training" that works on nightly 0.46 but not on stable 0.45 because it throws an error of the type: "sEffectFortifyAttribute effect of spell 'lft_agility' has a skill argument present. Dropping the argument." As I said, this is fixed in upcoming 0.4...

Re: Fixes for Uvirith's Legacy

Since this is about UL, and I have a vague memory the problem is caused by openmw (but I may be wrong), might as well ask here. There is an incompatibility between UL and House of Mannequins -- I think it makes the Upholsterer's shop unreachable. I read somewhere I already forgot that there is an &q...

Re: Crashing on startup in Arch Linux

"I want to say I really appreciate everyone who has taken the time to help me, and for being patient with my linux incompetence." Excuse my impertinence, but is then Arch the best distro for you? From the About Arch Linux page: "To summarize: Arch Linux is a versatile, and simple dist...

Re: Crashing on startup in Arch Linux

Are you using the steam-native or the steam-runtime version (or whatever the version is called, the one that comes bundled with all the libs)?
