Re: Open Morrowind 0.45 RC for Win 10 64bit and 300+ mods
Hmm, I‘ll try it again tomorrow, but I remember that it didn‘t work in 0.44. It choked on the original mod until I renamed the esp, then it choked on the RoHT patch becuase I had taken away the dependent file by renaming it. I did read there‘s a way to Ioad around the ampersand by using another ampe...

Re: Open Morrowind 0.45 RC for Win 10 64bit and 300+ mods
Nice screenshots! I like that you demonstrate one really important feature of OpenMW: Over 255 mods! This is cool. I can't remember anyone tried that before. To be honest I haven‘t counted how many of the mods have .esp files, so technically I may not have hit the 255 esp border of vanilla yet. I c...

OpenMW 0.45 RC for Win 10 64bit and 300+ mods
I spent about a week building this, and it was my first experience with OpenMW. First of all, I have to say, this guide was exceedingly helpful, I used the "total overhaul" option as a baseline for modding my game. Second of all, the next best resources I found were on OpenMW wiki pages, p...

Re: OpenMW 0.45.0
Edit - I figured out what was the problem, it was just the way I had the truetype fonts installed. I needed to upgrade to the 0.45 way to install them as per the wiki page, and everything works again. Sorry for the trouble! And last update: After some brief testing in Seyda Neen, Balmora, and Vivec,...

Re: Fixes for Uvirith's Legacy
Hey all, I was trying to backwards engineer where the badly named normal maps might have been affecting meshes in UL 3.53, and then I realized there were patches released on this forum. Derp. Just in case these weren't caught in the patches, here's what I found on my own. Someone may want to cross c...

Re: Mods which ask you to modify the Morrowind.ini file?
Someone pointed out to me that there's actually a Morrowind ini importer right in the OM launcher, hurr durr durr. But this was also very helpful, particularly in pointing out what wouldn't work, so thanks for the answers!

Re: Mods which ask you to modify the Morrowind.ini file?
Thanks for answering! Hmm, but what if the settings file has multiple entries? For example, the Creatures change looks like this: [Blood] Model 0=BloodSplat.nif Model 1=BloodSplat2.nif Model 2=BloodSplat3.nif Texture 0=Tx_Blood.tga Texture 1=Tx_Blood_White.tga Texture 2=Tx_Blood_Gold.tga Texture 3=P...

Mods which ask you to modify the Morrowind.ini file?
Hi all, I was looking but can't seem to find a clear answer to this. If a mod asks you to make an additional entry to the Morrowind.ini file, do you now do that change in the settings.cfg file, or the openmw.cfg file? It's kind of hard to find information on it because it's not really explicitly lis...

Cleaning dirty mods with TES3Edit in Windows 10 - how to enable CMD prompt
BIG OL' EDIT: Just use the Powershell, folks! Consider the rest of this post me taking the fall for anyone else who just switched to Win10 and is having culture shock. So I just found out I still have to clean old mods with dirty GMSTs and junk cells et all even for OpenMW, and I remember doin...

Re: Mods unavailable for download
Big edit: I just started trying to convert the armory according to the texture renaming and mesh clean up scheme provided in the OM Docs using Nifskope. Let me just tell you the mesh editing is not something the casual user will want to do. I haven't even gotten through the first folder of meshes an...
