Re: Is it okay to update a mod during gameplay?
Sort of. If you have an item in your inventory that was deleted in the next patch of the mod... you have an item that doesn't exist. No substantial harm done, though.

Re: Missing Master Trainers?
The master medium armor trainer is "fixed" by Unofficial Morrowind Patch, it's compatible with OpenMW so you can just use it together with OpenMW. It's not OpenMW's territory to fix it since OpenMW doesn't try to modify content files, but mods like Unofficial Morrowind Patch do.

Re: The Friendly Neighborhood Systems Analyst Asks: Please Take this Survey!
1. Are you also interested in utilizing OpenMW as an engine for your own game project? If yes, please describe what you have in mind, and what mechanics you feel you need to add, remove, or alter in the engine, or alternatively, how would you manage to adapt to your setting as is? Yes, dark fantasy ...

Re: The Friendly Neighborhood Systems Analyst Asks: Please Take this Survey!
I'm not asking the current team for any of this, I'm telling you this needs to be done and will be done, sooner or later, by either team I assemble or someone maybe even more patient but also desperate. I feel like I need to cheerlead so here I'm cheerleading I guess. Please do! Any help we can get...

No.
But then why make anything a short? Let's just make all things long long.

Re: Better NPC dialogue - flag previously heard topics; no need to click "Continue"
The real reason is that in the vanilla data format, dialog records cannot exceed 512 bytes! Why do you think they did that? Smaller boxes for the apples you are carrying allows you to house more boxes in a limited room, especially when most of the time there aren't enough apples to fill the boxes e...

Re: Better NPC dialogue - flag previously heard topics; no need to click "Continue"
I see in the CS that in the Character-Dialogue menu, I can view the various topics, some of which include in the "Result" window the text "Choice 'Continue' 1". This sums up why this is a bad idea. Continue 1 means there is a continue 2 as well. That means you get different dial...

Re: Use of OpenMW name and icon in Android port
Ok, I see. The reason you have no text is because you skipped this step: "everything in ./resources/mygui goes into C:/Program Files/OpenMW 0.36.1/resources/mygui" So you need to take the /resources/mygui contents and copy them to your OpenMW (engine) installation, like so... https://i.img...

Re: Use of OpenMW name and icon in Android port
What exactly didn't work? Btw I suggest reading installation.md to get an idea for how to install. Windows: -------- everything in ./data goes into C:/Users//My Documents/My Games/OpenMW/data everything in ./resources/mygui goes into C:/Program Files/OpenMW 0.36.1/resources/mygui modify your openmw....
