Re: 5K resolution, Quad-SLI and 10-core support?
True. The improved graphics are also not what I am looking forward to most, when it comes to OpenMW. There are going to be much more interesting gameplay and modding possibilities, after all.

Re: Delay 1.0 untill all of MWSE is implemented
No, I haven't... but in Germany, it is already released and people are extremely happy with it, as far as I have heard. Also, the same guys already made the Oblivion TC Nehrim which many people consider to be superior to Oblivion itself in terms of its world and story. And their two Morrowind TCs ar...

Re: Delay 1.0 untill all of MWSE is implemented
Tamriel Rebuilt and the other province mods like P:C and SHOTN move so slowly in development that it will be 30-40 years before the provinces of Skyrim and Cyrodiil are completed for TESIII. Well, will they ever really be completed? :D One thing I learned about fan projects like these... they ALWAY...

Re: 5K resolution, Quad-SLI and 10-core support?
Most games don't even use (or for that matter, need, considering AAA games still have to run on consoles and PCs simultaneously and consoles are much more limited in their hardware than PCs) four cores properly, why even bother to think about 10? Of course, OpenMW is not limited by any dependence on...

Re: Turning water terrain meshes into water bodies?
Considering that what you propose is possible in later TES games (well, at least different water levels and flowing rivers are), I'd think it would be possible to implement something like it in post-1.0-OpenMW. I believe I even read something about that somewhere...

Re: Zoomable World Map
Well, similar to that online one, yes, but I would not mind if local and world map would still be separate from one another as they are now, but at some point they would switch more or less seamlessly. I don't know if it would be required to expand the local map boundaries, but then the question wou...

Zoomable World Map
I like a lot how the world map in OpenMW already provides much more detail than the original Morrowind one, and I love that it can be even further increased by editing the settings.cfg, but it will probably always be a compromise between detail and overview. Unless it would be possible to zoom in an...

Re: fps optimizer
Might be a good idea to implement something like this for distant objects. But for smaller near objects... well, I'd say why not, after all it would just be an option, so people could decide for themselves if they want to use it or not... for all the other games (Oblivion, Skyrim, etc.) there is som...

Re: quick question
There actually was another topic about just this not so long ago: https://forum.openmw.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=3417 And while I also consider the issue as one of the biggest problems with the Morrowind GotY, effectively destroying the early game, it is definitely nothing for the engine to fix (h...
