Re: Fatal error: "Failed to create GaphicsContext"
Okay, I "fixed" it. I had updated from nvidia-384.111 to nvidia-384.130, and upon forcing the old version to reinstall OpenMW now works again.

Fatal error: "Failed to create GaphicsContext"
OpenMW was working fine yesterday, and today it throws this error when I try to run it. My first thought is that this was caused by an update to my graphics drivers, but I'm not sure how to roll back. Anyone know what might be causing this and how to fix it?

Re: Natural Character Growth and Decay - An OpenMW Leveling Mod
Oof, that's a good question. What happens when you update a mod that has a script running? Does it execute the new script, or keep running the old one? Are saved variables carried over? I do know that ncgdMW isn't designed to be installed on an existing save, so that might be something to work on fo...

Re: Natural Character Growth and Decay - An OpenMW Leveling Mod
I didn't really realize how important this mod was, but I guess it really is the only Natural Grow mod that actually works with OpenMW (at the moment). This sounds a lot more pretentious than I intended, what I really meant was that this was really just a mod I made for my own benefit, but there se...

Re: Natural Character Growth and Decay - An OpenMW Leveling Mod
Hmm, I'm getting the bug to play some Morrowind again, let me just check the OpenMW foru- Oh. This thread. Has replies. In 2018. Um, I guess I probably shouldn't mention I've been sitting on an updated version that I never released with some improvements to the decay system. Okay, okay, put your tor...

Re: Is it possible to Script Maximum Damage Taken?
Yes and no. The way I can immediately think of to do this is to check the player's health every frame (GetHealthGetRatio is your friend here), and if it decreases by more than 30%, you would restore some health to balance it out. One problem is that this won't work if the damage was enough to kill t...

Re: Get/Mod/SetStat, Fortify/Drain Stat, and Leveling Mods
What I'm currently trying to figure out is how to redo the death system, I hate savescumming so I gave the player almsivi intervention on death (and some health so they don't die) but apparently there is no way to force you to drop all your items into a corpse where you died so I'm not sure how to ...

Re: Get/Mod/SetStat, Fortify/Drain Stat, and Leveling Mods
The goals of each of our mods are almost completely opposite, I don't like games where your increases in power are incremental and not based on player decision I definitely understand this, and I could appreciate doing it this way myself. I was just heavily influenced by GCD, and so made my own mod...

Yeah, I was pretty happy when I made my discovery. I'm curious to see what you do with your mod. Have you taken a look at the mod I made? What do you think you might do differently?

Re: Looking for some good headphones for Linux/Windows
I decided to go with the Sennheiser. Amazon had a Used - Like New pair that was about $70 with shipping, vs the $100 - $200 that most of the other headsets were. I think I may have gotten OpenAL Soft's HRTF set up on Windows, but I'm not really sure what games it will work with, as apparently the li...
