Re: Auto-Update Feature
Maybe there's a middle-ground scenario. If only the installed allowed to extract the files or there was a .zip distribution, it would be easy to build a script that: 1. Checks current version: 1.1 For Stable: using GitHub releases API 1.2 For nightly: browsing the http repo with HTTP calls. 2. Downl...

Re: [SOLVED] Mod : "content file does not exist"
I reproduced this on my MacOS. Some googling "macos file path encoding" hints that MacOS is not 100% UTF-8 but uses some custom encoding. I have seen many post for similar issues for Python or Ruby. :x But there's on thing that puzzles me I tried a mod with "ê" in the filename an...

Re: How to reimport Morrowind.ini. ?
First, which city exact are you having issues with? I haven't noticed any missing element, but could be I haven't been there. Also, just it case it helps, you can open the launcher and see if it shows some error, I think there's actually a import Morrowind.ini in the last tab. Regarding the "op...

Re: How to reimport Morrowind.ini. ?
You don't really need to "reimport Morrowind.ini", that is to add the BSA files. Just add them to `openmw.cfg` as `fallback-archive`: fallback-archive=Morrowind.bsa fallback-archive=Tribunal.bsa fallback-archive=Bloodmoon.bsa fallback-archive=PT_Data.bsa fallback-archive=TR_Data.bsa Also, ...

Re: Can't run openmw-launcher.exe Win10
OK, let's try one last thing.
This is my installation: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zbx2qkp301xg4 ... 2.zip?dl=0.
Extract somewhere and try to run the wizard.
Btw, you should never trust someone else's binarys XD

Re: Missing meshes/textures?
I see many odd things here. To begin with there are a few mods, see the "content=" elements. A clean installation only uses "Tribunal", "Bloodmon" and "Morrowind" esm's. I imagine you imported the "Morrowind.ini" of a previous installation, don't wor...

Re: Missing meshes/textures?
I am running openmw 0.42. I am not running any mods, except the ones that came with openmw (texture fixes etc). Only problems I've encountered are these big yellow exclamation marks that appear randomly as books, statues and sheets of paper etc. Does anyone know how to fix this? As far as I know, O...
