Re: OpenMW future plans and MCP features?
there isnt any significant difference imo. you would want to discourage people from spamming(by using extra energy and time), but the goal is achievable in the end anyways.

Re: Distance Rendering
Actually, I find myself wondering about this as well. I'm wanting to start a character to explore Tamriel Rebuilt, and I'd like to have at least some sort of distant terrain to help get the scale and geography of it. Nothing fancy, just hoping to see some distant landmasses and where they are in re...

Re: Can't play OpenMW because of an error.
firstly, do you have bloodmoon.bsa in your data files folder?
second, if you intended to play without bloodmoon, go to your openmw.cfg in game folder, edit out the line that says fallback-archive="bloodmoon.bsa", and save. The line should be somewhere on top.

Re: Show warning if 2 plugins contain the same script ID
I agree the possibility of script names clashing is very low, almost none out of my entire 10 years of modding and playing. But we still cant rule out the possibility.

Re: Feature suggestion: Make footstep sounds dependend of terrain type
Most probably mods can achieve this feature. We also probably need a new function that returns the terrain type/terrain ID or something...

Re: Post 1.0 Plans
You can find Zini's (rather strict) standpoint here: GUI . I guess that the GUI's customisation is going to be a hot topic in future discussions. Yet another MWSE v OpenMW controversy in the making, it seems. It is inevitable. Although I would like to believe that anything made in MWSE currently, m...
