Re: OpenMW 0.43.0
it makes my computer go blue screen when I alt tab it for too long. I don't have this blue screen feature on my Linux, but I tried having it minimized for 15-20 minutes and it's OK, not even error messages in the terminal. It's probably a problem on my end, to be honest, usually these things are ha...

Re: OpenMW 0.43.0
Just wanted to thank everyone involved in this. This release is a massive improvement in speed and stability, I seriously could not believe the difference from the last nightlies to this latest RC1, since I thought no optimization had been done on OpenMW yet. Just one thing, this release seems to ha...

Re: Balanced fast travel
I believe Morrowind Rebirth does this, you should check it out and try to see how they do it.

I did as you asked and reported the issue.
EDIT: Disregard this, apparently has been fixed yesterday.

Re: Natural Character Growth and Decay - An OpenMW Leveling Mod
Just to inform that this mod has stopped working on the newest nightlies. As soon as you get out of the census office and click to select the levelling speed the game crashes to desktop.

Re: Weird lighting
Can you reproduce the bug without mods, only the base game? If it is still present, it may well be an engine bug that needs to be addressed in the bugtracker. I am oing to try that in the next minutes and report back. Now, I still don't understand why my character is emitting light. Which PpenMW ve...

Re: Weird lighting
Thank you, you are apparently correct about the seams! Now, I still don't understand why my character is emitting light. I will try with a new game later, just to test if it is some bug on my character. I present here screenshots inside a a cave (eggmine nearest vivec entrance) that show the object ...

Weird lighting
I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen, but I seem to have incongruent lighting between not only adjacent cells but also between cells and their objects. I also have that in dark places the player character exudes light without any sort of light spell effect being active. I could not quickly fin...

Re: Python script for removing NITextureEffects from nif files
I tried using both your exact command and also using args='C:/GOG Games/MW mods/Data folders', but I get a different error (same in both cases): runfile('C:/GOG Games/MW mods/Data folders/fix_nif.py', args='C:/GOG Games/MW mods/Data folders', wdir='C:/GOG Games/MW mods/Data folders') Traceback (most...

Re: Python script for removing NITextureEffects from nif files
First of all, thank you very much for the work. Now, I've tried running the script in spyder, and after installing pyffi I get the following error: runfile('C:/GOG Games/MW mods/Data folders/fix_nif.py', wdir='C:/GOG Games/MW mods/Data folders') usage: fix_nif.py [-h] [--dryrun] [--regex REGEX] dir ...
