Re: Mod packaging and repositories
Also, re: not gpl, the other don't virally force the whole community to use free licenses :3 I realize that you are using "virally" in a tongue-in-cheek manner, but it's not really a great way to describe how the GPL propagetes and might give people the wrong idea. See this interview with...

Re: Splash screens
How great would it be if omwlauncher had integrated dowload management (including updates) and dependecy resolution for mods? Think Wrye Mash + $(YOUR_FAVOURITE_PACKAGE_MANAGER).Okulo wrote:Are you going to have your own repository [...]

Re: Debian Experimental Packages
Thanks -one thing though, everyone needs mygui from unstable. It won't be in testing for a little while until gcc4.8 is default compiler on SPARC and PowerPC. EDIT: never mind I'll do some magic and try to force it through it may take a few days Perhaps I am misreading something, but it looks like ...

Re: Version/Build number in Launcher window
You can do 'git rev-parse HEAD' to get the hash of the latest commit.

Re: Debian Experimental Packages

Re: Splash screens
Anyways, i've asked Alexey for permission, waiting for an answer. Note that if OpenMW wants to use these pictures and stay in the official Debian repos, it would not be sufficient for the author to just grant the OpenMW project the right to use his work. He would need to grant anyone the right to u...
