Looks like someone with an axe to grind against @maqifrnswa.

Re: Elder-scrolls IV Oblivion

Well, guess you could always do an OpenMW on it and turn it into Daggerfall Godot (he says not exactly seriously!).

But yeah, pity about the XL-Engine. Even if Unity isn't open source, at least Daggerfall Unity is (and decently promoted). Not exactly ideal, but better than nothing.

Re: Crisis in Ubuntu land

About damned time. Canonical have been sailing against the wind too long with Mir, good to see it dead - hopefully that will help save Wayland from its current moribund state. Don't particularly care for Unity, so no tears they've scrapped that too.

Call of Red Mountain - what?

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ingenieur.ese.eseandroid&pageId=100385976382457001609 Looks like someone's taken what's been done on getting OpenMW working on Android and has "rebranded" it. And there's a Kickstarter for this! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/39614857/call-of-m...

Re: dagoth ur is all kinds of messed up

Well, I can see two mods conflicting here - DN-GDRv1.1.esp and DN-GDRv1.1_NOM.esp. One is for Necessities of Morrowind and the other isn't. I don't see Necessities of Morrowind's files in your mod list so you can take the _NOM one out and see if it makes any immediate difference.

Re: Mod Translation giving "Size Mismatch" error

If OpenMW doesn't use that record, it might be a good idea to have it give a warning on the console and otherwise ignore it.

Re: Woo-hoo, distant terrain is in the master.

Not bad at all! OpenMW's probably at a similar stage to where it was before the switch to OSG. Hopefully it'll be possible to add the smaller details that were so difficult with the OGRE codebase.
