About damned time. Canonical have been sailing against the wind too long with Mir, good to see it dead - hopefully that will help save Wayland from its current moribund state. Don't particularly care for Unity, so no tears they've scrapped that too.

Well, I can see two mods conflicting here - DN-GDRv1.1.esp and DN-GDRv1.1_NOM.esp. One is for Necessities of Morrowind and the other isn't. I don't see Necessities of Morrowind's files in your mod list so you can take the _NOM one out and see if it makes any immediate difference.

If OpenMW doesn't use that record, it might be a good idea to have it give a warning on the console and otherwise ignore it.

Not bad at all! OpenMW's probably at a similar stage to where it was before the switch to OSG. Hopefully it'll be possible to add the smaller details that were so difficult with the OGRE codebase.

In settings.cfg I can do this:

Code: Select all

[Terrain]

# If true, use paging and LOD algorithms to display the entire terrain. If false, only display terrain of the loaded cells
distant terrain = true
But I'm not sure which of the other settings I need to add/edit to enable distant land.
