Re: Installation Wizard

I'd say take one of the chargen sentences in Morrowind.ini, they should be present for every language. IANAL but I bet including it as plain-text instead of a hash can't be considered copyright infringement.

Re: Installation Wizard

That sounds wrong. You have these locations anyway, no matter what you select here. Sure, you have them, but you can only pick them as existing installations if they actually have something of value in them. No point in updating non-existant installations, right :) If you install new software that ...

Re: Installation Wizard

On being able to install Morrowind again, to a different location: how would you like the Wizard to handle that? Right now when the user installs Morrowind to a different new location, the location will get added to the list of data= entries. I see that this could cause problems and that this is the...

Re: Installation Wizard

I suggest to change the wording of the buttons. "Run Installation Wizard" -> "Rerun Installation Wizard". This indicates that you are modifying an existing installation. Same for "Run Settings Importer". Well I still intend to make it skippable on first run, so it could actually be the first run of...

Installation Wizard

I have been working on a separate Morrowind installation wizard, which helps the user to install and set-up Morrowind for OpenMW to use. My intention is to have it replace the current installation stuff in the launcher. The wizard will be started when the launcher is run for the first time. Also, th...

Re: English news poll

I have proofread and corrected Sirr's posts in the past, and I'm certainly willing to do so in the future.

Re: Version/Build number in Launcher window

No and no, currently not at least. I could compare the tag hash with the latest commit hash, if they are the same we have a release build, if not, it's a development build. Other than that there's not much I can distill from the sparse information git provides. UPDATE: What about this? http://i.imgu...

Re: Version/Build number in Launcher window

Ok, finished implementing this. It can be found in my GitHub repo . This requires some testing, especially on Windows and OS X, before I can send a pull request. Here's how it looks: http://i.imgur.com/CGh2TRl.png Compile date and time (format depends on system locale): http://i.imgur.com/1rjcsrX.png

Re: Version/Build number in Launcher window

yes, the line is the bottom of the window, the screenshot was taken with another window below it, hence the confusion. The label is in the green area. I wanted to use the status bar for it at first, that one is persistent too, but it is below the dialogue buttons, so it looks weird.
