Re: OpenMW Nightly builds

OK, thanks for looking into it (and for maintaining these builds)!

Re: OpenMW Nightly builds

Will the nightly Windows builds be coming back soon? The link in the OP here is for the build from five days ago (May 11).

Re: Same spell effect possible to add multiple times

I mean no disrespect to scrawl, but as I believe he's left the project (?), would his initial preference not to add that feature pre-1.0 still control? This is one of several MCP features I'd also love to see in OpenMW sooner, especially as it sounds like someone with both the skill and interest is ...

Re: OpenMW 0.45.0

@mikeprichard because we are still in the RC phase and catching things because we don't have enough testers. So if you would like to see new releases faster, then we need more testers to test our builds before we release. So it is actually a good thing that we are holding off until the videos are r...

Re: OpenMW 0.45.0

Imo it's actually better to stagger the main release and the video release. Have the main one out so there's one spike in interest, then a recap video on the update to rekindle interest for anyone who missed the main release. Sorry if I'm interrupting, but as a non-developer who's been watching Ope...

Re: OpenMW 0.45.0

Same here, but I thought it was an intended feature or something and that's why I never reported it. To be honest 0.44 has been in general a problematic upgrade for me , to the point I reverted back to 0.43 some time ago. Did you report these bugs to the GitLab bugtracker (assuming they're not dupl...

Re: OpenMW future plans and MCP features?

Thank you, psi29a, and I can see on git how much work you also put into the project every day to get OpenMW to 1.0. Much appreciated. My original questions have been answered here, so I'll just let you all get back to work!

Re: OpenMW future plans and MCP features?

It seems that this forum is becoming the place for everyone who doesn't contribute to give their opinion about what should or shouldn't OpenMW do; without even bothering reading the previous debates. Maybe we should put some items in the FAQ about MGE/MCP/MWSE/… :/ As I already stated, that was not...

Re: OpenMW future plans and MCP features?

Capostrophic, I've often scanned the bug tracker/git over the past few years, and (no offense intended to the many other active contributors working on OpenMW in their limited free time), it's clear that both you and Andrei Kortunov have been critical to the rapid progress OpenMW's seen for some tim...

Re: OpenMW future plans and MCP features?

The way the change is being described sounds like a reasonable compromise to me as well. It should still be fairly easy to increase speechcraft with repeated key presses for those (like me) who have no shame in doing that, but at least you won't be able to just weigh down the key and auto-level.
