Re: opening journal causes game to freeze momentarily and uses a lot of memory

how many entries you have in the journal How do I get that? Just roughly, do you have tens, hundreds or thousands or tens of thousands pages? I'd just like to track down why the issue happens. I'd recommend you try to create a new character, without any mods, and just open a blank journal and see i...

As an ignorant american, why the sad face?
I'm just not very happy with the situation here, you don't want to know what politicians we have running the country right now :) But hey, at least I'm not living in North Korea or something :)

Re: Resizing Character Window

It's pretty small thing, but I thought I'd mention it as it's a minor deviation in behaviour from Vanilla Morrowind.
Seems relevant to me, thanks for sharing.

EDIT: I've taken a video reference of Vanilla vs OpenMW: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XaaThDv ... e=youtu.be

Re: Transparent Object Markers

How did I know the marker was behind one of the boxes? Certainly not from looking at it. I think in Blender I mostly get the depth clue by rotating the scene all the time. If I have something selected, I can hardly tell how far away it is, but I keep rotating and translating the camera slightly, wh...

Re: opening journal causes game to freeze momentarily and uses a lot of memory

My game is just fine. Can you provide details, like operating system, game version, mods, how many entries you have in the journal, does this happen on a newly created caracter too, etc.?

Re: Transparent Object Markers

I've been looking at Skyrim editor and it has the constant screen-size, rendered over environment style manipulators, basically same as Blender.

Re: tweaking some lines openmw.cfg has no effect?

When we're at it: distant terrain = true turns the distant terrain on for me, but distant terrain = true # some comment doesn't. Any explanation? EDIT: Oh sorry, the comment isn't allowed to be on the same line. My highlighter confused me :) I'll leave this here for any unfortunate people who try to...

Re: Shadows

I'm not very good with colors! Anyway thank you, it works now :) You probably know this already, but changing view distance messes the shadows up sometimes.
