Re: [Linux] Modinstallation

Only moderators could move it, but I think you could repost it in Support and it would be fine.

Good luck on figuring it all out, by the way.

Re: [Linux] Modinstallation

So, first off, the Support forum (under General) would probably be where you'd get the most help and attention. Second -- are you using the same language version for everything? Cells having a different name than expected can wreck things really badly, because the IDs are actually the displayed cell...

I'd recommend at least trying this version first.
I have exactly this version (lore-friendly). Have you fixed this version or the original mod?
The original. My understanding is that this version was already supposed to be fixed for OpenMW, but I made the patch before it was released.

Re: Illuminated Order

I could upload that somewhere if anyone wants Upload please Here it is. At this point, I'd recommend at least trying this version first, but some people have had problems with it apparently. It is, on the other hand, supported. I can say that my patch will almost certainly work (I didn't try to do ...

Re: Issue with blessings from shrines. Possible mod issue?

Yeah, it was like this in the vanilla engine as well. I've actually concluded that magicka regen is easier with the Atronach sign than without it when you're roleplaying (and thus not sleeping for 36 hours or thereabouts whenever you run out of magicka) for exactly this reason. I really wouldn't min...

Re: Fixes for Uvirith's Legacy

Yes, it's weird, but they both extended the same spot for different things and different reasons, so unless someone wants to move one of them (the House of Mannequins would probably be the easier of the two), we're kinda stuck with it. Is this something doable in current openmw-cs? When it regards ...

Re: Fixes for Uvirith's Legacy

Since this is about UL, and I have a vague memory the problem is caused by openmw (but I may be wrong), might as well ask here. There is an incompatibility between UL and House of Mannequins -- I think it makes the Upholsterer's shop unreachable. I read somewhere I already forgot that there is an "...

Re: Is it okay to update a mod during gameplay?

Wrye Mash, guys. Not Wyre Mash. We're not electricians. ;) Literally never realized this. It does seem a bit counterintuitive in some ways when you first see it without knowing why it's called what it is. I don't know how many years I spent calling it Wyre Mash, or its Oblivion and Skyrim cou...

Re: Portmod - Mod Manager

Mator Smash is now the recommended utility instead of Wrye Bash for making that kind of patch for the games it supports. Only because Wrye Bash doesn't support all the relevant records for those games. Mator Smash doesn't support merging mods into the patch entirely as Wrye Bash does, nor does it h...
