Re: XL Engine source code release!

So, I played around with this a bit today. With Daggerfall, and the soft32 renderer, XLEngine segfaults on load. The soft8 renderer is the most complete for Daggerfall so far -- The OpenGL renderer seems to render everything, but nothing is textured, leading the play area to be very... Monochrome. F...

Re: XL Engine source code release!

Well, when I try and use XLEngine with my copy of Dark Forces, I just get a black screen -- Mind you, it's a CD version installed manually in Dosbox years back, I may not have all the files XLEngine is looking for, but I'm not getting any other messaging on the console. (I expect the original progra...

Re: XL Engine source code release!

This now compiles cleanly in my Ubuntu 16.04 dev environment! Not sure when I'll get to do much more than that in playing with this, but glad to see it! Any idea what the scope of our support for this will be? Will the focus only be on DaggerXL, or will the other games be given love? As much as I'm ...

Re: XL Engine source code release!

I'm unfortunately unable to get this to compile. I installed the libdevil-dev and libdevil1c2 packages into my Ubuntu 16.04 development environment. Is 16.04's version of GCC just not new enough at this point for the current codebase? EDIT: It would appear so -- If I initialize an ubuntu 18.04 devel...

Re: OpenMW and the Raspberry Pi

I've been running a Kodi 18 nightly for about a week now... It's pretty fantastic. Although since I've been concentrating on using the PPAs, it doesn't seem as though the libretro stuff is available in the PPAs as of yet.

Re: Where is OPENMW_PHYSICS_FPS located?

It is an environment variable, meaning it is set in your command shell before running the game.
`OPENMW_PHYSICS_FPS=60.0 openmw-launcher` would launch the launcher with the default setting under the bash shell.

Re: Added New Mods -- MANY errors now

I would advise that you remove the groundcover mods, unless they have been remade for OpenMW. They were never meant to be used in game, but for use in Distant Land Generation for MGE. Unless they are the modified ones, they will impede progress, and whether or not they are modified for OpenMW, they'...

Re: Can I mod OpenMW on android?

The Android port is still in an early Alpha state, and not all features are accessible yet.
