Hope this is in the right place. Just tried out 0.40.0 windows x64 and I'm getting 0 - 5 FPS in exteriors on my GTX 1080. Turning off frivolous graphics options and reducing my resolution helped "some" but this is a steep decline in performance as compared to what I was seeing in 0.39.0 No one else...

Seems fine for me. I can start OpenMW, the CS, the wizard and the launcher. I went in-game for a little bit in OpenMW and everything seemed fine.

Both the 32 and 64-bit versions work for me now. I also have Visual Studio 2015 Update 3.

I have Visual Studio 2015 installed. I just downloaded and tried and I had no problem starting openmw.exe, but I get the same Qt error as above when I try to run openmw-cs.exe or openmw-launcher.exe.

Edit: Same problem with both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions.

Not sure if it's in time for the release, but I just noticed today that there was one more minor bug fix that didn't get put in the 0.40 changelog. It was https://bugs.openmw.org/issues/3449, which was fixed at the end of June and should therefore be labeled a 0.40 fix.

it showed all the doors in Uvirith's Grave without the buildings for a new player, no house quests started.
