Re: Mod Manager Features & Functionality

I had thought about this too, it would be good to have profiles for different sets of mods for each game, and the ability for it to work like this not just for Morrowind, but for other games that get built on OpenMW, a mod manager that handles everything built with the engine (more or less) would be...

Mod Manager Features & Functionality

If someone were building a mod manager for OpenMW what features and functionality would you like to see (aside from the obvious things like, install a mod, remove a mod etc..)

Re: Weird FPS behavior

I have the exact same problem with the physics mainly in balmora but it's happened in other places too. Issuing a 'ra' fixes the issue some of the time, and when it does the 'fix' only lasts from a couple of seconds to a minute maximum. The physics goes through the roof for some reason. There seems ...

Re: First game on OpenMW - Roof Jumper

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2XjcCyQ7xw&feature=youtu.be Deceptively simple. Endless fun. Would it be possible to get a copy of the .omwgame, any .omwaddon files and other assets needed to run your custom game. I'm building an OpenMW related app in my spare time and it would be good to have oth...

Re: Command Line Argument for .cfg files

I've been playing around with the idea of building some basic type of mod manager and using it as a chance to learn python and qt. It would be good if i could 'load' additional engines into it rather then just doing one. e.g if you were doing bug-testing with a mod, you could 'load in' every version...

Command Line Argument for .cfg files

Is there currently a command line argument that you can pass to the openmw binary and openmw-launcher binary so you can over-ride the default path they will use to look for files like the users openmw.cfg and settings.cfg?

If not would this be a difficult thing to build in?

Re: Elder-scrolls IV Oblivion

What would be good for post 1.0, probably quite far past 1.0 is an underlying API or subsystem you can hook into so you can make the physic's engine modular, the cell asset and loading modular, terrain rendering modular etc... Then by default OpenMW only contains the modules needed to run morrowind,...

Small suggestions for OpenMW-CS

I have a few ideas for the OpenMW-CS after spending some time with it. I'm very new to modding in general let alone modding morrowind but i managed to create my first morrowind mod the other day using the OpenMW-CS which was awesome. The mod was only simple (some emeralds on the floor in seyda neen ...
