Re: Load order: reuse of mlox generated list?

Unfortunately, looks like I also wasn't clear about the command line to use either. It seems to be missing the "--game-files" parameter that tells the openmw-iniimport to copy the content files as well. The command line needs to be: [email protected]:~/src/openmw/build$ ./openmw-iniimporter ~/Apps/Morrow...

Re: Load order: reuse of mlox generated list?

However, the fact that the files are written to openmw.cfg in alphabetical order very strongly suggests problem is with mwiniimport. Can you add the logging to it, run it, and send me a copy of your morrowind.ini file and the logging mwiniimport writes to the console?. I'm not sure of what log you ...

Re: Load order: reuse of mlox generated list?

Start owlauncher, go to the "settings" tab, check the "import game files" check box and click the "import" button. When the "supply content list name" dialog appears, do NOT supply a name or click the button. Instead, open the openmw.cfg file and see what order the content= entries are in. If they'...

Re: Load order: reuse of mlox generated list?

This is most likely, the wiki page on mod installation, https://wiki.openmw.org/index.php?title=Mod_installation informs users they can place mod files anywhere that suits them. I have a folder ~/morrowind that contains Data Files, this folder only has the three 'official' esm and bsa files as well...

Re: Load order: reuse of mlox generated list?

So, I need some help. Are you willing to assist? Sure! hypothesis 1: Plugin files are not where I expect them to be: I'm assuming ALL the plugin files are in a subdirectory called "Data Files", which is in the same directory as the morrowind.ini file that is being imported. Can you check this is co...

Re: Load order: reuse of mlox generated list?

Thank you for the link. So I tried it, fetched the pull request into a new branch, checkouted the new branch, compiled the project again, tried the ini importer, and saved the order into a new list. But the new order is NOT reflecting the data files timestamps. The new order is alphabetical: first E...

Load order: reuse of mlox generated list?

Hi,

I wanted to benefit from mlox load order, so I tried and copy/past my list of content data from morrowind.ini to both launcher.cfg and openmw.cfg while replacing the key of each line accordingly but it ended up with a wrong mod order and mods were partially selected.

Is my trick achievable?

Re: ERROR: ESM Error: Previous record contains unread bytes

Merged level list at least that is kinda obsolete in openmw. It could but is it needed in some way .? For what I understand, merged_objects is a merge of objects (items, creatures...), not levelled lists. Does openmw handles merge of objects by itself? I have another plugin, multipatch.esp (generat...

Re: ERROR: ESM Error: Previous record contains unread bytes

Thank you for the quick fix!

Tinker, for now I can only tell the mods load but I still have to test them ingame. BTW, the "merged_objects" one is generated based on others so I'm not sure it is relevant to tag it as "working".
