Re: Can I use the assets from the XBox 360 version?

I currently own three versions of the game - one German retail GOTY, one English GOTY and the Steam version - though the latter two were included in the Elder Scrolls anthology. And the day it comes to GoG (one can always hope) I will certainly buy it a fourth time, which would make it the game I ow...

Re: Windows Glow Mod: Collision Problem and disabled objects

Yeah, that's definitely related, seems that so far nobody is aware that this problem is connected to the RootCollisionNode being misplaced. By the way, there's yet another thing I noticed that is related to collision: As it is now, it is possible to collide with both sides of a polygon, whereas in t...

Windows Glow Mod: Collision Problem and disabled objects

I have tested OpenMW with my MGSO Morrowind installation, which I use mainly for testing purposes, since I am still actively playing my self-modded German Installation of Morrowind. So there are a lot of replacers included, which seem to work fine for the most part, but I have left most esps uncheck...

Unnamed NiNodes in weapons problem in First Person

I just wanted to inform you about a bug I discovered when I was testing my Real Reflective Weapons: Iron mod with OpenMW: Apparently, if there is a NiNode in a weapon mesh which doesn't have a name, everything inside it is not displayed correctly in first person view - first I thought it would not b...

Re: 2 questions regarding water and view distance

I believe the problem is, as was said above, that there is just one single water plane for the entire game world, and everything is exactly at the same height - so the river in Balmora is exactly at sea level and so forth. You can see that for yourself, just enter "tcl" in the console and fly below ...

Re: Playthrough observations

So the problem is in the animation? Does that mean it could be fixed for original Morrowind as well?

Re: Playthrough observations

Interesting... I didn't know that the issue with NPCs slowly changing their position over time was still present in OpenMW. Does that mean it was build in intentionally? Is it bound to some other functionality? It clearly is a bug that can cause problems, as was mentioned before. I was under the imp...

Re: BSA INI Stuff

Why not include a function to scan the data files folder for BSA files and register them automatically? I have absolutely no clue of programming, but it doesn't sound like a very hard thing to do.

Re: Asset Update to Ogre3D Discussion Thread

@Berandas: You are certainly right about the trees being problematic in some cases like mods, and maybe it is not such a bad idea after all to remodel the original tree shapes, so that they have their trunks and branches in the same place, and then additional branches can be added as well as a lot m...

Re: Asset Update to Ogre3D Discussion Thread

Seeing that this has become an actual project with it's own website, I decided to register to these forums and post my thoughts about it. In my opinion, replacing all original Morrowind meshes with updated, more detailed versions is a great idea, and with proper organization and enough people partic...
