Re: 2 questions regarding water and view distance

The biggest problem with a flow shader is that Morrowind's water doesn't define a flow direction. The game doesn't define which way the water is flowing in any given place, because it has no concept of moving water. It's just a flat plane, which forms rivers by having the world geometry clip below ...

Re: OpenMW Game Template

Eh, personally I think that icon is a bit too close the Moon-and-Star icon that signifies Morrowind. I think something a bit more game-neutral would be better. While something more neutral would indeed be better, it would be nice to have some throwback to Morrowind in there, as a tribute to the pro...

Re: Downtime

I got my new system on monday. Very happy with performance, but unfortunately the water pump is making a little too much noise. It's silent enough to shrug it off for now, but loud enough to slowly drive me crazy if I don't get this fixed. I am in contact with their support now, who told me to inst...

Re: Multiplayer Development

My opinion was just my opinion, nothing more. I do not mind if other people want multiplayer, so long as I do not have to use it. My only concerns are code bloat for a feature I do not want and the possibility that introducing multiplayer could break some of the single player game and lead to two p...

Re: Still issues with stealing.

Pretty sure that's intended behavior. As in, vanilla Morrowind behaves like this I don't believe it is. In vanilla, a popular starting exploit is to grab the platter in the census office, then quickly open your inventory and drop it before the guard gets you so he doesn't take it (then after he sco...

Re: Still issues with stealing.

I don't pin my windows, just right clicking to open all the windows at once and drop items in my inventory, using the windows RC from Ace's links. so I can confirm that stealing has some issues with the windows open, (but not pinned) Pretty sure that's intended behavior. As in, vanilla Morrowind be...

Looks like it's all ogre! Paid mods are gone, at least for the time being.

Re: Workshop Paid Mods

Yeah, definitely glad I have my hard copy of Morrowind still around and that the Steam version is likely too old for workshop integration. Seems like this is one storm the Morrowind community will weather well.

Workshop Paid Mods

Just wanted to see what some of the Morrowind players had to say about this. Though, knowing the open source nature of this project, I think I can predict what most views will be.
