Re: OGRE 1.8

I saw a log of this kind of crash before on the IRC and I can say that it was due to a mesh replacer that used unimplemented NIF stuff (NiStencilProperty or so) - IMO nothing to worry about right now.

Re: Water Rendering

I will try to implement the script functions later today. Have I understood you correctly that we are modifying cell->data with the scripts?

Re: Water Rendering

According to http://www.mwmythicmods.com/argent/tech/es_format.html the WGHT (water height) record is a float, and not int. The ESM reader was reading it as int. After changing it to float I've got water showing up in interiors.

I have no clue though why only I had this problem.

Re: OGRE 1.8

Sweet.

I don't believe there are issues left with terrain, so once everyone tested it we could merge that as well.

Re: Physics improvement

Terrain will be a little harder
If we insert it as a RigidBody just like all the other objects, shouldn't that work without adjustments?

Display std::cout in console window

What do you think? IMO it would make debugging easier, as I don't have to switch between OpenMW and the terminal window / IDE all the time to see the output. edit: with std::cout this wouldn't be possible (correct me if i'm wrong), but we can use a log macro that writes the message to standard outpu...

Re: Physics improvement

Awesome :D

If we're lucky, terrain collision will just work. We'll see.

EDIT: Aedra has swimming as well, right?

Re: OGRE 1.8

If you're at it, I could use some testing for this branch (it uses 1.8 as well): https://github.com/scrawl/openmw/tree/occlusionquery

Just walk around and try to pick up objects and go through doors - if an object or a door doesn't work please tell me.
