Re: Water Rendering

this is strange, the WHGT should definitely exist, because even cells in original morrowind have different water heights (beshara: -100, addamasartus: -760)

maybe it is stored somewhere else?

Re: Water Rendering

Can you try this one?

Code: Select all

        // Interior cells
        if (esm.isNextSub("INTV") || esm.isNextSub("WHGT"))
            esm.getHT(water);

Re: 90% Linking CXX executable openmw undefined reference er

Error: Shell widget menu has zero width and/or height
This error means no render systems were available to select. You might have to edit the plugins.cfg to specify render systems. example:
PluginFolder=/usr/lib/OGRE
Plugin=RenderSystem_GL

Re: updating the dialog gui

I found this on line115 in layout.hpp, is that where I need to modify it to reflect what you posted? The Dialog window is derived from OEngine::Gui::Layout, thus you can just call that method from the Dialog window class. this would be the new code to change the window caption: static_cast<MyGUI::W...

Re: updating the dialog gui

set the window title like this:

static_cast<MyGUI::Window*>(mMainWidget)->setCaption("TITLE");

in openengine/gui/layouts.hpp there is also a method that adjusts the title bar size, you should call it after changing the title

Re: OGRE 1.8

I saw a log of this kind of crash before on the IRC and I can say that it was due to a mesh replacer that used unimplemented NIF stuff (NiStencilProperty or so) - IMO nothing to worry about right now.

Re: Water Rendering

I will try to implement the script functions later today. Have I understood you correctly that we are modifying cell->data with the scripts?

Re: Water Rendering

According to http://www.mwmythicmods.com/argent/tech/es_format.html the WGHT (water height) record is a float, and not int. The ESM reader was reading it as int. After changing it to float I've got water showing up in interiors.

I have no clue though why only I had this problem.
