Re: Weird openmw-cs problem

(full disclosure - not a dev and haven't modded in a while) I *believe* that the behavior in vanilla morrowind is to default to an interior lighting setting when the interior ambient lighting setting is not found or else may simply ignore ambient light settings when more than one found. There is evi...

Re: Play two players in tes3mp on one PC using ASTER

I'd like to add - let us know how this goes. This may be another way for people to try multiplayer if interested, and this option may be something worth keeping in our notices/knowledge base.

Re: Develop a standalone game/total conversion

Hello, If you are looking to do a TC or something like that, then you should look into the discussion regarding the example suite. This is the place where people have discussed the idea of creating a new game not based upon bethesda's intellectual property (the game assets, the land of Vvardenfell, ...

Re: Yes you can run openMW on chromebook (through crouton linux)

This will only work on Chromebooks with an Intel (or AMD) CPU. For ARM Chromebooks, you will have to dual-boot, and if you're lucky recompile the kernel and Mesa. If you're unlucky, you will be recompiling the kernel many times, trying 15 blob drivers on a number of github repos until you find one ...

Yes you can run openMW on chromebook (through crouton linux)

A couple of beers and a little persistence and I was able to install openmw on chromebook (through the crouton linux chroot) and it did not fail. Will have to test this to make sure so I have to now install the source files (as in, morrowind itself). Will keep you all updated, but now if anyone asks...

Oh btw, terrain editing is now merged in master, so please, everyone, test it as much as possible before 0.46. All bugs should be reported!

Re: [Suggestions] Quick Equipping For Equipment and Tools (+ Other QoL)

Original Morrowind supported setting hotkeys (https://www.reddit.com/r/Morrowind/comments/2og5aj/whats_your_usual_19_hotkey_scheme/) I am not sure if this is yet implemented in openmw but there was discussion for this being done with lua (tes3MP) here -> https://forum.openmw.org/viewtopic.php?t=5753...

Re: Quite high

This thread was not what I was hoping it would be, but I was not disappointed.   I have to say, this is one of the more frustrating outstanding issues. There also doesn't seem to be a way to strip collision from specific pieces of furniture to prevent the issue in the interim, becau...

Re: OpenMW-CS: Ability to make markers in the world for beta-testers

Isn't this how the beta comments work in original Morrowind? Not saying that that is a bad idea, I do think that we should have some kind of way to mark the map as well as make a note associated with that mark. (Just was wondering if we supported beta comments or if this is to replace beta comments)...

Re: Silt Strider Bug

Do you know if this module had any issues in the original Morrowind? It is worth looking into to see if this is something that is only an issue in OpenMW or not. If this is only an issue on OpenMW then it should be added to the bug tracker and investigated
