Makes sense, libogre-1.6.4 is default in Lucid. Baseline ogre should be >= 1.7.1?

Re: OpenMW 0.12.0

libpng warning: Application built with libpng-1.2.46 but running with 1.5.4 and refuses to draw the textures. <snip> As far as packages go, I have everything that's default for Ubuntu 11.10 plus ppa Ogre, plus getdeb bullet. Why are you running version 1.5.4 of libpng when 11.10 is 1.2.46-3ubuntu1....

Re: Launchpad

That is a good idea. I have no experience with PPAs on launchpad though. Also, does OpenMW have an account in Launchpad? I think launchpad accounts are per person and not per project. So you could just create an account for yourself and host the PPA there. I have my own account but they also have P...

Launchpad

Does anyone have experience with Launchpad in creating and maintaining PPAs? If not, I can get my hands dirty as I've always wanted to try this out. Also, does OpenMW have an account in Launchpad? If not, I propose creating such an account to handle these things: * libogre w/ shader support (Ubuntu/...

Since we are pre-1.0 then all our 'official' releases are a...

I think so as well. :)

I know 'what is in a name' but perhaps we can do release candidates instead of marking everything alpha, that way we get a progression and nothing gets overwritten.

That is a 'Pro Tip' if I ever saw one. ;)

To be fair, I've never 'beaten' Morrowind, I hope to fix that with OpenMW one day. :D

Re: OpenMW 0.12.0

We can temporarily disable most of the new configuration system, especially disable multiple data directories and data-local completely. OpenMW would still be able to automatically pick up MW installations, so it wouldn't change anything for the user at this point. I think this is the most pragmati...
