Re: Use of OpenMW name and icon in Android port

Would you keep it 'free'? Does it cost anything to get posted to GPlay? From what I read, it is something like 25$ for registration fee. It also says that if you make it 'free', then it is free forever and you can't charge for it later. [1] What are your plans? What would you like to do? Does this a...

Re: OpenGEX as .Nif alternative for OpenMW

Yes, I've backported dae (collada) fixes to our versions of OSG and what is on PPA. I posted about it already either here or in another thread. dae models load, but spit out warnings/errors if there is unknown elements (like animations). So ideally.. that is the starting point. :) https://forum.open...

Re: OpenGEX as .Nif alternative for OpenMW

Thing is... our 'animation system' is something specific to OpenMW... I believe it is more tailored for how NIF works. So we either need to translate other animation formats (during load time) to work with our animation system, or we re-work our animation system to support other formats more directl...

Re: OpenMW Daily Build PPA

I know... been waiting on Debian for the last 11 days. :)

Has to do with patchset that doesn't overlay over master due to the way we setup the nightly build. Blame Debian who wanted 0.45 faster than we were willing to release. :P

Re: OpenTESArena 0.9.0 Released!

Which is this month! :)

I did all the ground/leg work to make sure we were building against xenial 16.04 already.

So.. if someone wants to be 'that guy' and flip the 1 to a 4, please do.

Re: Very low FPS

If someone wants 32-bit morrowind, they can use morrowind.exe? (answer not meant to be taken seriously)

Re: Very low FPS

We do that with WIndows, MacOS and our Generic Linux builds. We have all the control there to make sure everything is double precision. Bullet is complied with double precision on downstream distros depending on 64 and 32 bit. If arch is 32-bit, then it is float. If arch is 64-bit, then it is double...

Re: Pull requests cleanup

It isn't just 'merge' it is the review part that is important too. The person who created the PR/MR shouldn't be the one to hit merge, someone should at least review before hitting merge. There are exceptions of course, but that is our best practice. Kind of like the 'buddy system'. No one should go...
