Re: Application: devurandom

Hey Devurandom... sounds great. I assume you've already gone through the developer checklist?

That issue sounds like a good beginning, you'll get first hand experience with Qt. :)

Let us know if you have any questions. Welcome aboard.

If OpenAL can play it, we can play it. There might be more to it than that, though.
You mean perhaps ffmpeg?

So yeah... aac, mp3, wav, ogg... almost all supported audio and video formats.

Cool, welcome back! :)

Issues: https://gitlab.com/OpenMW/openmw/issues

There is really nothing you can do for the next release, the only blocker is being worked on.

Issues targeting 0.47 can be worked on. What are you interested in? When in doubt, anything on our tracker is fair game. :)

Re: OpenMW winner of The Linux GOTY award!

Even so, OpenMW won't be happy with OSG >= 3.6.0 < 3.6.5; we have something in the works that gets OpenMW running with 3.6.5; right?

Re: OpenMW winner of The Linux GOTY award!

Confused. So first congrats on the win! Huge step. BUT... The game for me crashes when saving. I have found that the issue is with scenegraph 3.6 but on Manjaro builds 36 is the default and rolling it back kinda breaks some things. So again congrats but even more if this can be fixed in the stable ...

Re: Linux Manjaro 18.1.5 KDE issue with saved games

Notify Manjaro to put a dependency on OSG 3.4, it is the only version we support because 3.6 currently is buggy (no seriously, 4 releases of 3.6 later and bugs are still not fixed upstream).

We should be good again once OSG 3.6.5 is released.

Re: Elder-scrolls IV Oblivion

Yeah, the target is OpenMW in that OpenMW exposes an API in Lua that developers can use. One layer of abstraction is that anything calling mwscript or obscript function/method/variable then maps to an equivalent OpenMW's Lua.
