Re: Morrowind Acoustic Overhaul and Atmospheric Sound Effects
There are plans for OpenMW version of MAO once there is a feature parity with Morrowind+MWSE. Not necessary by implementing MWSE functions since those are often hacky workarounds but native scripting extension that will allow to handle following tasks: - a way to check if particular reference is CRE...

Re: Reversing Morrowind's formulas
Currently OpenMW uses following formula for attack fatigue cost: fFatigueAttackBase + normalizedEncumbrance * fFatigueAttackMult + weaponWeight * attackStrength * fWeaponFatigueMult with this comment: // somewhat of a guess, but using the weapon weight makes sense According to scrawl it was indeed a...

Re: Morrowind Equations
Sorry for bumping old topic, but I'm looking for a formula for Fatigue loss on attack. OpenMW wiki mentions that it is implemented, used, but un-researched. Does it mean it is currently unknown how it works? I think in vanilla Morrowind it takes weapon weight into account (there is noticeable higher...

Re: Morrowind Acoustic Overhaul
something that would allow us to attach scripts to actors. In MWSE xFirstNPC returns actor reference in the players cell and xNextRef function is used to find the rest. Returning the players target reference would also be handy.

Re: Morrowind Acoustic Overhaul
We forgot to mention in the main readme file that in order to disable original music system (hardcoded in exe) you not only need that MCP feature, but also should delete all music files from original "Music/Explore" and "Music/Battle" folders (or even better delete these folders ...

Re: BodySlide -customize outfits and bodies without mesh edi
One question though. Why are you talking about OpenCS? Usually this sort of thing is used in the game at character creation. Although it would be nice to also use it in OpenCS for racial differences... I'm a modder so I value OpenCS modding possibilities more than in-game cosmetic changes for Playe...

Re: BodySlide -customize outfits and bodies without mesh edi
it's quite funny that you mention it because what most bother me with the only existing body replacer and compatible clothing mod (Better Bodies, Better Clothes) is huge breast size compared to what we see in vanilla bodies. Either way it is a useful feature for modding. Of course I'm not suggesting...

BodySlide -customize outfits and bodies without mesh editing
I'd like to suggest a feature that would be definitely loved by modders and players. BodySlide functionality integrated in OpenCS. A small program for Skyrim mods that allows custom meshes to be customizable by users. Uses the .nif file format for input and output. Designer input involves creating a...
