Re: OpenMW desperately needs a Flatpak

Hopefully the upgrade process will just be a simple `flatpak update org.openmw.OpenMW` (With --user added if running as a user-contained install) But yeah, Flatpak stores all data in the .var/app/ folder for the application, so perhaps that would indeed be good to add to the wiki - and probably ment...

Re: OpenMW 0.43.0

A problem with applying the tag in advance is that the moment the tag is applied, any maintainers outside of our team are going to start instantly rolling up release packages. So we might end up released early on those distros. That's me... ;) Well, yes. But we'll also end up released on Arch, Gent...

Perhaps it'd be best to leave a line break between the windows and the flatpak text, since they're not in any way related to each other?
OK, page updated.
And to keep giving you work to do - and cluttering this thread slightly more, sorry; It's actually spelled Flatpak without a c. :)

Re: Onscreen Controller Keyboard

The dual-touch steam keyboard doesn't work very well on regular sticks, too low precision for it - I've tried.
The blossom/flower keyboard that they have does work very well for sticks though, it's just not very intuitive if you haven't used it before.

Re: OpenMW 0.43.0

Going to note that since the Flatpak manifest was accepted into Flathub, maybe we should add a note to the download page - and probably to the release post as well since I'll be pushing an update to their build system as soon as the tag's in place.

Re: OpenMW desperately needs a Flatpak

And OpenMW is now available on Flathub, though it might take a bit for the webpage and such to update.

Feel free to throw in issues to it on the flathub repo if things are flatpak-specific.

Re: OpenMW desperately needs a Flatpak

The runtime is just a core set of userspace libraries, with the most common ones being org.freedesktop.Platform, org.gnome.Platform, and org.kde.Platform. Both the Gnome and KDE platforms are based off of the freedesktop one, with additional libs that are used in the applications on them. The Gnome ...
