Re: 27-28 May: Forum update
The active topics list and the bar at the top do not display correctly on mobile (Android 7.1, Chrome browser.). Previously the list was less "scrunched up" and there was less empty space, especially on the right. Otherwise, looking good!

Re: Cultural learnings of the Internet.
Yep, that SMBC comic is basically it. At my very liberal university, I'd imagine 95% of students would describe themselves as egalitarians/feminists. However, the *feminist agenda* is determined by a group of, at most, 50 students (0.1% of the student body), the self-titled 'autonomous wom*n's colle...

Re: Elder-scrolls IV Oblivion
Remember, there are huge numbers of completely original mods that use the Oblivion/Skyrim .nif format. If OpenMW could support Oblivion .nifs alone, a vast new library of assets would be available to modmakers with minimal effort (i.e. assets that are made from scratch). The 'effort' part (and also ...

All aboard the hype train: Fallout 4
So what do you guys think? Those armor/weapon customisation options... That base crafting system... I gotta admit my mouth was slightly open throughout that section. Of course, the inventory is going to end up filled with crap, but, for me that is just part of the charm of a Bethesda game. http://ko...

Re: Manual & Icons
Note: I already did some work rewriting parts of the manual, but my changes have not been merged: https://github.com/Bodillium/openmw/commits/ManualEdit (so you don't have to spend time doubling up!) Many apologies for not getting around to finishing -- but my computer died, and then life intervened...

Re: Moons - replicate Morrowind or lore friendly?
I, too, am in favour of making the path of the moons more astronomically accurate -- as long it is not too tedious. It is much preferable to privilege interesting lore over lame, likely development-constrained depictions. As Chris points out, the moons being Daedric planes in no way contradicts the ...

Re: Giving away some unclaimed humble bundle stuff
Can I please have Dear Esther and Thomas was Alone? Both have been on my wishlist for quite some time.
In addition, I have a spare CD key for Far Cry 3, if anyone wants it -- it is a serial for uplay only (with all the added joy of ubisoft DRM -- urgh).

Re: Manual & Icons
Hello, it turns out I had some free time over the past few days, so I started tinkering around with the manual. You can see the changes here (to the files and directories section): https://github.com/Bodillium/openmw/compare/ManualEdit My aim was to make the section clearer and more concise, whilst ...
