Re: Undo the alleged MCP "fix" for Absorb spell reflection
It actually is harder, unless they're 100% resistant to Magicka, Fire, Frost, Shock and Poison Reflect costs as much as all these resist spells combined, which I implied by 100% resistant (well, maybe a bit lower if you also add paralysis). But what I wanted to say is that, as you said, you can't a...

Re: Undo the alleged MCP "fix" for Absorb spell reflection
Out of curiosity, how are you supposed to deal with enemies with 100% (or nearly 100%) reflect as a pure mage? Even with the vanilla reflect mechanic, you can't actually do any damage and you're just ensuring that you don't get damaged either. Summons? Reflecting back their spells, if they can cast...

Re: Undo the alleged MCP "fix" for Absorb spell reflection
Do you play Magic? Because I'm thinking of a couple cards that would illustrate the difference pretty well I think. Here: Commandeer versus Misdirection . Although I haven't played Magic and didn't know about these cards, this is pretty much what I thought the whole duration of me reading this thre...
Re: What OS?
NixOS on main machine, Arch Linux on Raspberry Pi 2, both with i3. Sometimes I boot Windows 7 from VHD to test things and run games that are not playable on Linux.

Re: OpenMW on Arch Linux ARM
Hardware and driver are exactly like OP's - Raspberry Pi 2 with VC4 driver. I didn't test much since then, but teleporting to Balmora works fine. Although frame rates are a bit lower than I read from other users, it might be because I didn't overclock my RPi. When I coc'd to Seyda Neen, game worked ...

Re: OpenMW on Arch Linux ARM
Just editing doesn't bump the thread, does it? I'll double post just in case. Feel free to scold me if it's unnecessary and inappropriate.

Re: OpenMW on Arch Linux ARM
Had to deal with out of memory problem, but now it compiles successfully, thank you! Disabling openmw-cs was enough.
Now I need to test it with something.
UPDATE: Morrowind works only until I exit from the ship, then it crashes. Attached file is a terminal output.

Re: OpenMW on Arch Linux ARM
So disabling openmw-cs should be enough? I probably wouldn't use it on RPi anyway, so I am okay with this solution. But how can I disable it? Sorry if it was already written and I just missed it.

Re: OpenMW on Arch Linux ARM
I'd like to necro-bump this thread and ask for help with compiling too. I followed the github link and have pretty much the same result, except that I get different errors from both OSG from Arch Linux ARM repository and compiled from github.com/OpenMW/osg.git. This is with OSG from repository: [ 6%...

Re: Make Fortify Health safe to use
A fortify would have to cost more than a restore That alone would make a fortify spell quite expensive with high duration, yet much less useful than a restore one with same duration and magnitude. You'd have to cast fortification right before getting hit to make the spell worth the cost. Which coul...
