Re: [patch] new fog shader

After reinstalling an official PPA package of openmw, the appropriate directory on debian based systems is: /usr/share/games/openmw/resources/shaders. You will have to place the contents of that zip file as the root user to get them into the right place. That did it, thank you!!!! This shader is be...

unzip this directly to your resources/shaders directory. Overwrite all files if prompted.

Until then, any other way to get updated to the latest version?

Re: has anyone received any updates lately?

You only need one or the other, the daily one is what I run.

However, the reason you haven't gotten any updates is because the build is broken... @psi29a I think you addressed it in another post, but could you elicidate the issue again here?

Just a heads-up, this page hasn't been updated for 0.42 yet: https://downloads.openmw.org/windows/
Ah snap. Until that gets updated, you can find the release here: https://github.com/OpenMW/openmw/releases
Also, this still needs to be updated? Who handles the downloads page?

Re: OpenMW 0.42.0

I know this is definitely a case of too little, too late, but I updated the release texts for distant land. I updated them on the blog and facebook as well. Plaintext: The OpenMW team is proud to announce the release of version 0.42.0! Grab it from our Downloads Page (https://openmw.org/downloads/) ...
