Hi Laicus- The sort of things you are asking for would have to be added post-1.0, and through functionality that will need to be developed as part of de-hardcoding the current game mechanics. The vision for 1.0 is to exactly replicate the vanilla engine mechanics, but to enable these sort of changes...

my graphics card is an AMD card: HD6670, dated around Q2/Q3 2011. Old AMD drivers are notoriously bad. Hard to say what you are running since Windows did it for you. And even if it's an updated driver, it might be selecting a legacy code path to support an older card. Sorry, I know this isn't very ...
