Re: Website design proposal(s)
well, i prefer prev variant. The new one is ok besides 3d titles ? it's better to stick to completly flat theme imho. The titles either need a distinguished border as you see in the current draft, or a darker background as you saw in the previous draft. I went for the lighter background because get...

Re: Website design proposal(s)
Was there a reason for abandoning the separate boxes around the titles? Looked rather neat. When I was working on it before, I had a hard time making it look right. I'll have another go at it and see what I come up with. It looked square, simple, plain and pr0. So diffrent from silly, rounded and g...

I've been following the DaggerXL project because I am not motivated to try to get Daggerfall working in Linux. I'll be excited to play it someday!

Re: Website design proposal(s)
I definitely see what you are saying Rhys, and agree. I do feel like we are getting to the point where further tweaking is largely opinion and not necessity, but I am not satisfied with it yet either, and so I'll keep working. I'll try to make it "flow" more.

Re: Website design proposal(s)
Forever tinkering, tinkering... (link removed) I went the lazy rout and just did some gradients/curves on the content boxes. What do we think? My design instincts are always to go simple/clean/minimal, but if it just looks bland I can give something more flashy a try. My art skills are a bit lacking...

Re: Website design proposal(s)
I'd really like to keep the image credit where it is. Having the credit there is what I proposed to the artist when i initially contacted him, and asking to change it now is a bit awkward. I've made it smaller in recent revisions, and it's very discrete. We're getting a very gorgeous piece of artwor...
