Would be cool to have the bound weapon "fade out" (lower the opacity) quickly when the time expires, and then, when the weapon is no longer bound, play the equip animation for the previously equipped weapon. I think this is an excellent idea, whether pre-1.0 or not, tbh. The original game is already more than playable via OpenMW; plus, the engine would get exposure to more people. Any really, being an open source project, isn't this kinda the goal?
