Away over Christmas

As usual I will be away over Christmas. Not that this would make a great difference, since I have been more or less away over the last couple of weeks anyway (the usual, RL sucks). Hopefully that will turn out better again next year.

Anyway, merry Christmas and a happy new year everyone.

Re: Native Animated Containers and Graphics Herbalism support

Well, that is post-1.0 stuff. So tag it as such and forget about for now. Feel free to improve the description. Everything else depends on how post-1.0 scripting will work which is a discussion I really meant to get back to but just haven't got around to it. But off the cuff I would suggest to go wi...

Re: Deprecating Ubuntu Trusty Builds

Doesn't Bionic go back to Xorg as default again? And no to Gnome 3. Only over my dead body. Desktop metaphor all the way for me. I haven't seen anything yet that would convince me to move away from it. Also, I need the capacity for heavy customisation, because default Gnome 2/Mate setup doesn't work...

Re: Deprecating Ubuntu Trusty Builds

Actually, I am strongly inclined to go back to Ubuntu (the mate variant of it). It seems Ubuntu has dropped most of the garbage that made me go to Mint in the first place. And yeah, Bionic is the most likely candidate. I'll try to hasten things on my end, but even under the best conditions I don't s...

What do we hope for or would like to target for 0.46 in terms of OpenMW and OpenMW-CS ?
What ever gets done, obviously. Shadows would be really nice. Maybe progress on OpenMW-CS again. One can always hope.

Re: Addon Meta Data: Version

Would have to check the source, but I am pretty sure that is the file format version too (just poorly labelled). Content file versions are a post 1.0 feature.

OpenMW 0.46.0

I'll just leave that here for discussion in regards to the currently developed 0.46 version. There hasn't been any major change since 0.45, so I have nothing to talk about this time.

Re: Deprecating Ubuntu Trusty Builds

Still on Linux Mint 17.1, which I believe is based on Trusty. Currently planning to do an upgrade in Q1 2019 (together with a new machine).

Re: Addon Meta Data: Version

I assume you are referring the the "File Format" field. This is unlikely to be ever manually editable. We may remove this field at some point, because it is kinda useless. Our current plan is to convert content files on loading to the newest file format, which means this field will always contain th...
