Re: Android part 2
So I am trying something totally different. I am attempting to run OMW in desktop mode and here are my findings so far on my LG V60 The app opens on the monitor but the game kicks over to the phone screen. Opening the app within the LG Games app results in the app opening on the monitor and the game...

You mean like this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gZLb3j_H3g4 if so it is the viewing distance setting in the settings.cfg file. https://openmw.readthedocs.io/en/latest/reference/modding/settings/terrain.html?highlight=distant#distant-terrain https://openmw.readthedocs.io/en/latest/reference/moddi...

Re: OpenMW Spotlight: Turning the Pages
I'd like to pop out of the dark corners of lurking and make a point that I still remember the day I saw on the official Bethesda forums the question "Can we see Red Mountain from Seyda Neen?" and the replies were all the same, "can't be done!" "it'll take a super computer!" "why would you need that...

Re: Android part 2
Thanks you guys for the help with slower phones. Is there any way someone could compile a lightfixes.esp thst includes morrowind, expansions, and Tamriel Rebuilt? No. The official expansions and TR are separate entities and wont be loaded together. Speaking of TR you should get SHOTN and P:C. The f...

Re: Android part 2
So what does preload do for performance? Reduces loading time during the game, but may slightly decrease maximum fps, because engine in background loads resources of the place to which you are moving (neighboring cell, interior). So having that set to two would be optimal, unless you have player sp...

Re: Android part 2
To my understanding the [Cell] section was removed in .47 master/nightlies. So if this build is off of the master then that section should no longer function. That is according to anyOldName3 in my Reddit post in OpenMW .47 video. Removed the ability to change the exterior cell load distance, prelo...

Re: OpenMW Nightly builds
Hm, 64-bit build link is not working right now (internal server error), but 32-bit build is. Downloading it right now so it's working again. I have a .47 build on my phone and the distant land is incredible! I see forever and still get 10FPS on the rocks outside of Seyda Neen. From there I can see ...

Re: Android part 2
So can I match versions between the two platforms or is the Android port numbers off? Also is there a separate repo or download location for the nightlies? This way I can watch the Android builds. Will need to find the pc repo as well as I think they stopped nightlies for the moment. Sisah doesn't ...

Re: Android part 2
I hate keeping up with the builds as I am actually still playing the game for the first time and need to not run into any issues stopping progress. That is the only reason I hesitate jumping on nightlies. I, on the contrary, as soon as a new version comes out, jump to it, and in two years of such ju...
