Using the NVidia Control Panel, I set openmw to use the high performance GPU and now it works fine. Thank you all for your help!

To be clear, the issue is solved; I don't see any way to indicate that on the post title so this will have to suffice.

All my drivers are up to date and I am able to play other games, 3d and not, fine.

According to the log, it looks similar if not identical to what was happening previously, but, again, this is a fresh (Excluding starting and running Morrowind for a test) install of both Morrowind and OpenMW.
