Check if a mod is loading or not

I've found that if I misspell a path in openmw.cfg, the game launcher doesn't report an error. How can I tell if my mesh and texture-only mods have actually loaded?

I wonder if you stored an item flagged as 'stolen', and retrieving it triggered the stealing-from-guild event? It's a bit lame how you can be completely unburdened by having 100K gold in your pocket
I had always assumed there were higher-denomination coins, like a 1K Septim that some Khajit won't break, and that Dunmer put under a scanner before they accept it.

Are there any plans to merge graphic herbalism into OpenMW, or will it always be a separate mod? I'll argue for adding it in: It's like the UI tweaks that let you brew many potions at once, making the game less annoying. It doesn't change the game mechanics, just makes potions less tedious to brew. ...

I tested openmw-0.45.0-Linux-64BitRC1 for a couple hours tonight, on Xubuntu 18.04. The only issue I had was that screenshots for saved games weren't showing up until I installed libjpeg62 from the Ubuntu repos. libjpeg-dev depends on libjpeg8, but openmw seems to want libjpeg62 specifically. Anyway...
