Wow, a mod package manager inspired by Gentoo's ebuilds is like a dream come true
Agreed! Huge thanks to Ben for his awesome work on this. I look forward to growing that repository.

It seems deadlocks are fixed.
I rebased your branch with upstream's master and haven't seen one yet.

Mod API/Repository

I've talked with a few different folks about this idea and wanted to start a larger discussion about it. The modding-openmw.com website has a large database of mods (and growing), including information about compatibility, where to download, what to tweak (if applicable), and what the data or plugin...

Re: Distant Statics Placeholder

Some additional test results: 1. There are deadlocks in the navmesh system (in master too, but less frequent). Nice work on this, it looks so great and has a very marginal impact on performance even at 5-6 cells. I am seeing these deadlocks, though, especially in parts of Sheogorath and Ascadian Is...

Re: Modded OpenMW: Total Overhaul Screens (29 Images)

Very nice! This Concept Art Vivec looks very different from the screenshots on the mod page. Have you tested out any of the Project Atlas stuff? Hey 1Mac! I've not yet seen the Atlas Project -- but I will for sure be trying them later today. Remiros and Melchior Dahrk do such great work. Thanks for...

Modding-OpenMW.com -- CFG Generator update

Hey folks, I just deployed a pretty large update to the CFG Generator and wanted to share if with the forum. If you want to try it you can find that here . Noteable changes: If a mod has any extra configuration (e.g. True Lights and Darkness, or Skies .IV), the generator now provides this in a copy-...

Modding-OpenMW.com -- FOSSing the site code

In the past, some folks had expressed an interest in me "open sourcing" the site code. I'd like to get the ball rolling on this process and wanted to get some feedback from the OpenMW community about how you'd like to see this play out. I'm looking for thoughts on: 1. How to host the code (self-host...
