Re: First naive attempt at a mod - problems

I used OpenMW-CS to create a simple mod that adds an NPC in Mababi called "The Immortal" which carries three unique enchanted items, an amulet, a robe, and boots. For some reason The Immortal's legs were invisible, and I also couldn't figure out how to make the NPC equip the items. The robe was ent...

Re: First naive attempt at a mod - problems

Have you read the tutorial on how to make a mod using OpenMW-CS? https://openmw.readthedocs.io/en/stable/manuals/openmw-cs/index.html No, but I will! Thank you! :D I've made it! The tutorial is incomplete at the moment but I managed adding the ring to Arrile's store in Seyda Neen and set ow...

Re: Better installation method

I dunno about the installers with the original games and modern Windows versions, but if you have the Steam or GOG versions is it really necessary to support installing it from OpenMW? For the people who do not have the gog or Steam versions, do not want to buy them or already own the game on the o...

Re: Selection of mod compatibility statuses

I saw on your mod compatibility wiki that Bethesda made "Bitter Coast Sounds" was working but with the latest version of OpenMW, it's missing the dragonflies it adds to the game. Must I create a specific thread about that issue? Am I the only one who has that issue? Must I create a bug report? Bitt...

0.43 was released in 2017, this conversation takes place in 2018... correct me if I'm wrong, but is 'upstream' meaning it is in master but not yet released?
Ah, it's for the next version then. :)

Especially if we can turn off the visual notification now.
It was removed completely, you can't turn it off.
I'm still getting the message when I take screenshots. I'm using OpenMW version 0.43.0 Revision: 35d68f038d.

Re: Screenshots do not reflect the screen

Wow, you people seem very knowledgeable about that stuff. So, basically, I have no reason to worry about what my screen shots look like? :)

Re: Screenshots do not reflect the screen

All right, I now know what was the problem. My laptop is an MSI and there is a "MSI True Color" software inside that allows rendering and image settings. I managed to work out how to set one so that my OpenMW looks good. My problem is solved then; no more ultra dark interior cells! The problem is th...
