I'll delete my PR since it seems this is not something the team will add.

For me personally (as an American), the Month, Day, Year, 12-hour clock is way more natural to read. Perhaps it would make sense if I just added this to the English version of the game?

I too have the issue with the gold beds, and other textures being shiny. Please help!
